Character's Name: Scott Summers
Character's Age: mid-to late twenties.
Character's Codename: Cyclops
Character's Sexuality: Do you ask this to people you meet on the street? Is it readily apparent? No. Hence, I'm not telling.
Character's Appearance:
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 180
Hair: Reddish brown
Eye Color: Brown.
Character's Powers: Solar Powered Optical Force Beams. He must constantly wear glasses or a visor made of ruby quartz or risk destroying everything around him. Due to a head injury in his youth there is no 'off switch'.
Character's Strengths: Organization, leadership, duty. Very good with geography, direction, and math, Presumably because of the year and a half he spent effectivly blind, his sense of spatial awareness is incredibly good. Automechanics and repair. Airplane piloting and maintaince.
Character's Weaknesses: If kept out of the sun his mutant abailities, namely the optical beams dwindle and finally 'fizzle out'. He has near constant headaches from the mutation, or possibly the head injury, that vary largely in severity based on his level of stress-- the more stressed he is, the more his head hurts, and the more irritable he becomes. His sense of duty is also a weakness for Scott. He is a total type-A personality and feels he must be in control of any and all situations and events. His sense of humor is present but like most of his personality overshadowed by his need to be in control of events and people around him. Often seen as a royal jerk because of his unwillingness to open up to people around him.
Character's History:
Father: Major Christopher Summers.
Mother: Katharine Summers.
Siblings: Younger Brother Alex
When Scott was a child his father flew his family back from vacation in a vintage plane. The plane went down in an attack by a scout ship of the Shi'ar Empire. Katharine pushed the two children out of the plane, and in the fall Scott sustained a head injury that damaged the part of his brain that would have enabled him to control his mutant abilities.
Once rescued the boys were separated, Alex to be adopted while Scott remained comatose for roughly a year. Their parents were both presumed dead. In actuality they were taken hostage by their attackers. Katharine soon died, but Christopher became Cosair, leader of the starjammers.
Once recovered Scott was placed in an orphanage in Omaha Nebraska that was secretly controlled by his future enemy Mister Sinister. Years later, in his teens, Scott began to experience severe and blinding headaches. He was sent to an eye specialist where it was discovered that ruby quartz glasses corrected the problem.
While Scott was visiting a large city, his developing mutant power to project optic force beams finally erupted. The blast from his eyes demolished a crane, causing it to drop a huge object towards a terrified crowd. Scott saved the crowd by obliterating the object with another blast, but they turned into an angry mob, thinking he had tried to kill them. Scott ran and ultimately escaped on a freight train.
Professor Charles Xaiver and an FBI agent Fred Duncan joined together in an effort to find Scott. Meanwhile Jack of Diamonds, Later Living Diamond forced Scott to aid him in his crimes. Xaiver rescued Scott and enlisted him as the first member of the X-men.
Scott, in this game does not have, and has never had, a romantic relationship with Jean Grey or any other character, male or female.
